Jackie H. Whittington

Jackie H. Whittington, 82, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016 at a local hospital. Private funeral services will be held at a later date in Riverside Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 5 – 7 p.m., Wednesday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue.

Mrs. Whittington, wife of the late William Franklin Whittington, Sr., was a lifelong resident of Macon and the daughter of the late Jack and Mamie Huff Harville. She was of the Methodist Faith and was dietician retired from Bibb County Board of Education. Mrs. Whittington was a member to Top of Georgia Airstream and WBCCI Airstream.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Lisa Darlene Whittington; her son, Billy Whittington; her grandson, Brent (Joni) Tucker; her great granddaughter, Carolina Tucker; her cousin, Patti Rushin. Her companion, Charles “Bubba” Whitehurst and his family.
