Jean was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Canterbury Sunday School class. In her earlier years, her hobbies included traveling and playing golf with her husband. She loved flowers, gardening and was a member of the Vineville Garden Club. Jean was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Survivors include her loving husband of 51 years, William (Billy) Norris; children, Barry C. Cole (Marla) of Macon GA, William S. Norris (Allyson) of Spartanburg, SC, and Debbie Walker (Randall) of Gray GA; grandchildren, Brittni, Lennie, Stephen, Jonathan, Greg and Lance; and several great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 6, 2022 in Northgate Riverside Cemetery with Rev. John Kinser officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the ALS Foundation, American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
