John Lawrence "Peanut" Doles

John Lawrence “Peanut” Doles, 60, entered the gates of Heaven on Monday, December 5, 2016. A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, December 9, 2016 at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Pastor Paul Dziadul will officiate. The family will meet friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.

Peanut was the son of the late John Walter and Evelyn Louise Doles and was a lifelong resident of Macon. He was of the Baptist Faith and was an avid Braves fan, enjoyed watching the “Young and the Restless,” and enjoyed Falcons Football. Most of all, he loved spending time with the family he adored and was a most special brother.

Left here to cherish his wonderful and loving memory is the family who treasured his life with them, his brothers and sisters, Roland Neel Doles (Teresa Lynn), Sharon Ann Brown (William Clarence), Debra Elaine Winn (Ray Benge) and Kay Blalock (Billy); a special cousin Libby (Nicole) Roberson; several nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of friends.
