Joyce Elizabeth Pinholster, 88, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry St. with the Pastor Brett Bartels officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northside Christian Church, 5024 Northside Drive, Macon GA 31210.
Joyce was born in Sandersville, Georgia on December 12, 1933 to the late Ransom Wright and Thelma Scarborough Brett. She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Pinholster and her sisters, Glenda Delk and Frankie Stewart. She was retired from HEW as an analyst and was a member of Northside Christian Church. Joyce was an avid Bridge player and enjoyed gardening. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her sons, David Pinholster and Grant Pinholster; grandchildren, Colby, Shelby, Bailey and Craig Pinholster; great grandson, Braden Pinholster; sister, Carol Shuttlesworth; brother, Charlie Brett; and several nieces and nephews.
