

Karen Mullis Walker passed away at Bolingreen Health and Rehab on Friday, September 8, 2017. A Celebration of Life will be held at Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel at 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 10. Pastor Wiley Leverett will officiate with Jerry Binson as soloist.
Karen was a member of Solid Rock Community Church in Centerville, Georgia. She graduated from McEvoy High School and attended David Lipscomb College in Nashville, Tennessee. Karen transferred to Alabama Christian College in Montgomery, Alabama. She was a car salesperson for Pitts Toyota in Dublin, Georgia. Karen later worked for Barney Smith Motors in Macon and then Carl Gregory Motors in Brunswick, Georgia. She was Car Salesperson of the month on several occasions at all three locations.
Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Walker. She is survived by her parents, Hilda and Walter Wilson; son, Samuel Mullis, daughter, Lauren Mullis; grandchildren, Allyssah, Kari, Savannah, Anna Grace, Aniyah and Noah.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to the nurses at Bolingreen and Serenity Hospice volunteers for their exceptional service during Karen’s confinement.
