Katherine Snow Linder

Katherine “Kitty” Snow Linder, 90, departed her earthly home, for her Heavenly home on Saturday, September 27, 2014. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at 11:00 A.M. in Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery (Northgate). The family will greet friends from 10:00 A.M. to service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Shurlington Methodist Church , 2060 Shurling Drive, Macon GA 31211 or the Methodist Children’s Home, in Memory of Glenn P. Kite, 304 Pierce Ave., Macon GA 31204.

Mrs. Linder was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Carl and Bessie Snow. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Paul D. Kite, and Ferrell H. Linder; son, Glenn P. Kite, daughters, Joan Jones and Margaret Fassett and brothers, Maurice Snow and Rufus Jones. Mrs. Linder was a homemaker and a member of Shurlington United Methodist Church, Fun and Fellowship Sunday Class and the Morning Glory Circle. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.

She is survived by her children, Carol Linder of Austin, TX, Rita Shumaker of Charlotte, NC., grandchildren, Todd Kite of Largo, FL, Tim (Tracy) Kite of Lizella, Angela Kite (David) Lintz of Macon, Trelle Kite (John) McCombs of College Station, TX, great grandchildren, Dylan (Leann) Ennis of Midway, GA, Gavin Ennis, Abigail Ennis, Taylor Kite, Alex Kite all of Macon, Tailyn and Trilby Kite of York, PA, and sister-in-law, Bernice Snow and several nieces and nephews.
