Kimberly “Kim” Keys Hunnicutt, 56, fought the great fight of faith, and with saddened hearts we acknowledge her passing on November 9th, 2025. A Celebration of Her Life will be held on November 13th, 2025 at 11 AM at Snow’s Memorial Chapel on Bass Road with Rev. Joe McDaniel officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
Born on April 17, 1969, to Harold Eugene and Florabelle Gillis Keys. Kim lived a life full of energy, compassion, and devotion to those she loved. Our hearts ache deeply, but rejoice in the fact she is no longer in pain and suffering. Kim's last moments were filled with family surrounded at her bedside, reminiscing old stories in laughter. Her last breath was peaceful and slow, as Jesus carried her home to her favorite dog Merry. She was able to hear the beauty of Psalms as she laid to rest.
Kim taught others how to persevere, and love unconditionally. Nothing stopped her, not even her battle with blood cancer. She was a loving wife, a selfless mother, fierce friend, and the kindest stranger to those who didn’t know her. Her spirit was bright pink. Just like her lipstick and ponytail. Kim was so brave. She worked as a personal trainer at Idle Hour Golf & Country Club, inspiring countless individuals with her passion for fitness and well-being.
She is survived by her loving husband, James Michael Hunnicutt; her three daughters, Mary Kate (Michael) Ellis of Eatonton, Maggie Grace Hunnicutt of Macon, and Meredith Ellen Hunnicutt of Macon; and her two precious granddaughters, Maddie and Kinsley Ellis. Kim also leaves behind her brother, Christopher Eugene (Jennie) Keys; her sister-in-law, Jeanne (Larry) Dillard; and her brother-in-law, Kenneth (Cherie) Hunnicutt.
Kim’s vibrant spirit, unwavering faith, and deep love for her family will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.
