Lena M. "Dottie" Stefano

Warner Robins – Mrs. Lena M. “Dottie” Stefano passed away February 19, 2012 in a local hospital. A funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Father Michael J. Kavanaugh will be officiating. A Rosary will be said at 5:00 pm Wednesday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street with visitation to follow.

Mrs. Stefano was born in Maringouin, Louisiana to the late Nathan Platto and Frances Vigie Plotto. She was the widow of Mr. Frank Stefano, and was preceded in death by a sister, Patsy Stelly. A member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Macon, Mrs. Stefano also attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Warner Robins. She was a wonderful cook and homemaker. Mrs. Stefano was retired from Winn-Dixie Grocery.

Mrs. Stefano is survived by her son, George N. Stefano and his wife Nancy of Bonaire; sister, Norma Jean Gray and her husband Richard of Long Beach CA; two nephews, Sam Stefano and his wife Diane of Milledgeville and Mike Stefano and his wife Barbara of Macon; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Roland Stelly; several nieces and nephews.
