Dear family of Linda,

I met Lin at Eastern High School in 1964.  Although we were only acquaintences, she was a good friend of my sister, Carol.  She seemed like a very sweet, genuine person and the kind of girl you would love to have for a close, forever friend. 
May Jim and the family find comfort in knowing that she is in God's arms and will remain content until you are all joined together again with her in heaven.

I'm so so sorry to hear of Ms Lin's passing ..She was always very kind to me and I'll never forget that . Thinking too of you Mr Jim ..If you need anything please let me know .

My heart is saddened by the loss of my dear sweet friend,  Lin.  She brought light into my world whenever she was around.  Though I have moved away,  I looked forward to her visits each year.
Now I'll look forward to our reunion one day in heaven.

Lin & Jim were the first couple we met at church when we moved our membership in 2015. We have regularly sat directly behind them during Sunday morning worship, and we've shared many prayer requests, plus a lot of smiles and chuckles. It is rare to find a couple that much in love with each other and that united in a strong faith in Christ. They were always ready with a hug and a smile and they have inspired us to keep the faith and carry on.  Jim, I know you are hurting and wishing she were here, but she will be so happy to see you arrive in our heavenly home. The Lord will give you the grace to deal with your sadness and grief and the strength to keep living for Jesus until He calls you home too. We love you, Jim, and hope you know that we will always be ready to pray for you or assist you in any way. The Lord bless you and keep you and cause his face to shine upon you and give you peace ... Shalom, Shalom, Brother!

Linda touched many lives with her kindness and love of life.  I am so thankful my brother made her a part of our Palmiter family.  I still cherish the ceramic pieces she made for me so many years ago.  My plants are flourishing after Linda's  last visit when she felt sorry for them and repotted everything.  The sun is shining less brightly with Linda gone.

I first met Lin in our Bible study from The Well.  She always had a smile & a sweet word or two.  My granddaughter considered Lin and Jim her adopted grandparents.  Lin always was encouraging to us through some rough times.  No matter what was happening In her life, she always  put others first.  Our Bible study group broke up during Covid, but her words stayed with us.  I was saddened to hear of her passing.  She will be missed.

I was shocked and saddened to hear about Lin's passing. I  met Lin at a Forest Hills women's retreat in New Ebenezer almost nine years ago. I sat at her table for dinner, and we became fast friends. My family and I sat near Jim and Lin during the 9:45 service almost every Sunday. Lin was always quick with a smile and a hug! She was, and is, a beautiful example of a strong Christian woman! I have spent so much time with her at Bible studies, meals, retreats, and other church activities.  I have served with Jim and Lin during Vacation Bible School and River of Life. Lin was a mentor and example to me. She was an encouragement to my son when he decided to go into ministry.  Lin is resting with God in Heaven now, but she has left behind many people who love and will miss her. There will always be a place in my heart that belongs to Lin.

Lin was in our church & Sunday School at Doles Methodist. We enjoy many SS parties together  I also enjoyed lunches & conversations with her later. We will all miss her & that beautiful smile. May God bless you , Jim, & give you peace through the many wonderful memories you shared with her.

Our sincere condolences to the family. We got to know Mrs. Palmiter at church and she was always so kind and had a smile and a kind word. She will be missed.

Lin worked with us at The Methodist Home for Children and Youth for many years.  she was a great help in raising the funds needed to provide for the care of children and young people.  Lin was both funny and lively -- always something going on!  Sad to hear she is gone, but grateful for the faith that endures, and the God into whose hands we entrust her.
