Lois W. Pryor

MACON – Lois Evans Winn Pryor, 88, died Monday, January 31, 2011 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Jay Harris officiating. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to your favorite charity.

Mrs. Pryor, wife of the late Walter David Pryor, Sr., was a lifelong resident of Macon and was the daughter of the late John Minor Winn and Rebecca Evans Winn. She was a bookkeeper and was a Charter Member of Martha Bowman Memorial United Methodist Church and a member of the Howard Community Club. Mrs. Pryor was the mother of the late Walter David Pryor, Jr.

Survivors include her son, Minor (Carla) Pryor of St. Simons Island; her grandchildren, Kate Pryor Lehman of McDonough, John Pryor of St. Simons Island and Rebecca Pryor of Macon; her great grandson, Ryan Lehman of McDonough; her sister, Ida Surrency of Macon.
