MACON – Lucille Vaughn Davis, 88, passed away Friday, August 19, 2011 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Eddie Windham officiating. The family will meet friends from 6- 8 p.m., Sunday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue.
Mrs. Davis, wife of the late Roy H. Davis, was born in Coweta County the daughter of the late Jessie and Clara Norwood Vaughn. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Rachel Joiner of Macon; her son, J. E. Shaw of Florida; a number of nieces and nephews; two very special friends, Juanita Lowery and Lois Dowd, both of Macon and a host of other friends.
