Matthew D. Davis

Matthew "Matt" D. Davis, 60, passed away Wednesday, November 01, 2017 at a local hospital from complications of surgery. A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono with the Rev. Glenn Haskins officiating. The family will meet friends from 10:30 a.m. to service time at Snow’s. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Wartrace, TN at 2:00 p.m. CST on Saturday. Memorial donations may be made to Wesley Glen Ministries, 4580 N. Mumford Road, Macon, GA 31210.

Born in Macon, Matt lived most of his life with his mother and father. He currently lived at Wesley Glen Ministries. Matt was preceded in death by his parents, T. Lynn and Julia Davis and his brother, Buck Davis.

He is survived by his brother, Jim Davis of Macon as well as cousins, a niece and a nephew.
