Melvin Henry Daniels “Bo”, 84, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono with Pastor Caleb Newberry. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Bo was born in Toomsboro, Georgia to the late Ethel Daniel Smith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Laverne Pope Daniels and daughter, Linda Carlene Fowler. Bo was a retired Security Guard and was a member of Middle Georgia REACT for over 20 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle. Bo was loved by many at the Gray Family Health Rehabilitation. He also shared a love for animals, especially his cat, Solo; dogs, Duke and Chico. Bo’s handle was Plug Nickel on his CB radio and he loved potato chips and ice cold “Pepsi”.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Deborah Hill (Johnny Coley, Jr.) and Sylvia McCollough (JJ); grandchildren, Kimberly Kohlmayer (Chad), Christopher Dixon, Gregory Hill and John Coley (April); eight great-grandchildren; brother, Lamar Smith (Jeanette), a number of nieces and nephews.
