Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Franklin Etheridge will officiate. The family will greet friends from 5 until 7 PM Friday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Bass Road. Masks and social distancing are required to be in attendance of the services. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 4550 Montgomery Avenue, Suite 1100N, Bethesda, MD 20814.
Mrs. Owens was born in Twiggs County, Georgia the daughter of the late Annie Hammock Etheridge and Stephen Etheridge and was preceded in death by sons, Jerald A. Warner, Jr. and Joel Warner. She was a retired home health care nurse and a former member of Vineville Baptist Church and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Mrs. Owens loved her family and those that surrounded her in life. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved sharing laughter with her family and everyone she met.
Mrs. Owens is survived by her son, Jarrett Warner (Jeannie) of Gordon; grandchildren, Stephen Warner (Hailey), Tina Mangum, Nathan Warner (Chris Fulton), and John-Micheal Warner; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Sandra Etheridge (Franklin); several nieces and nephews.
