

GRAY – Nancy Henley Thompson, 75, died peacefully at home on Thursday, August 4. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m., Saturday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, 746 Cherry Street in Macon, with visitation preceding the funeral at 2 p.m. Private burial will follow in the Wheeler family cemetery in Bradley. The Rev. Jimmy Towson will conduct the services.
Ms. Thompson was a retired realtor who was past president of the Middle Georgia Board of Realtors and the Middle Georgia Women’s Council of Realtors.
She grew up in Vienna but lived most of her life in Macon. She was the daughter of the late Thelma and John Henley of Vienna. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Johnny Henley of Steinhatchee, FL and Paul Henley of Vienna.
Ms. Thompson is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Chuck and Jill Thompson of Jones County, Jimmy and Brenda Thompson of Macon and Jeff and Jill Thompson of Macon, by grandchildren, Katie, Kevin, Jessi, Seth, Joshua, Rebecca and Sarah Jane Thompson and several nieces and a nephew.

The family would like to thank the staff members of Stone Brooke Suites Assisted Living in Gray, Evercare Hospice and Home Instead Senior Care for their devoted care.
