Paul Maron Bassett

A celebration of life for Paul Maron Bassett will be held Sunday, May 25, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Snow's Memorial Chapel, 1419 Bass Road, Macon, Georgia 31210, followed by a visitation. Rev. Phil Anderson will officiate. Burial will be private for family only in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family

requests that donations be made to Northway Church, 5915 Zebulon Road,

Macon 31210.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Leon Frederick Bassett and Mary

Izora Barsh Bassett, and his wife of 58 years, Sandra Sapp Bassett. Paul was born May 13, 1943, in Roanoke, Alabama. He moved to Macon, Georgia where he attended Lanier High School and later graduated from Georgia State with an accounting degree. Paul was self-employed before retiring. He enjoyed spending time with his family and church friends. Paul was a charter member of

Northway Church, served as a Deacon and member of the prayer ministry of the church as well, before his health declined.

Paul is survived by his daughters, Amy Sturtevant (Kyle) of Cumming, GA and

Ansley Brown (Todd) of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Cason, and Calder

Sturtevant, Anna Lindsey (Wil) Graham, Walker and Baylor Brown; and siblings

Martha Pollard, Lynda Anderson, Kathy Roberts, John Bassett, and Joan Ray.
