PEGGY C. LOWE MACON – Peggy C. Lowe, 83, passed away Friday, November 20, 2009 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Lamb officiating. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue. They suggest that those who wish make memorial contributions to Hospice of Central Georgia, P. O. Box 6533, Macon 31208. Mrs. Lowe was the daughter of the late Elsie Spieker and the widow of Doyle John Lowe. She was born in Atlantic City, NJ and had lived in Macon since 1945. She was office manager retired from Family Life Insurance Company of Snow’s Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Lowe was a member of Ocmulgee Boulevard, East Baptist Church and a member of the Bible Study Group at Magnolia Manor. She had a devout love for life and the people around her as she spread sunshine and joy wherever she went. Mrs. Lowe was devoted to her family whom she adored. She is survived by those who love her most, her family: her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Jack Horton of Macon; her three sons, Ricky Lowe of Marietta, Johnny and Brenda Lowe of Gray and Randy and Alesia Lowe of Macon; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; her sister, Betty Guenther of Pleasantville, NJ and numerous nieces and nephews.
