

Ramey George Pace, 72 of Forsyth, Georgia passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. till service time in Snow's Memorial Chapels at Bass Road. Funeral services will follow in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Stephen Howard will officiate. Burial will be in Monroe Hills Cemetery in Forsyth with military honors.
Born in Griffin, Georgia, he was the son of the late Ramey Virgil Pace and Grace Elaine Davis Pace. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era.
Early in life, he attended Southern Baptist Theological Seminary College in Louisville, Kentucky and became an ordained minister. Later he became an air traffic controller and retired from the Federal Aviation Administration. After retirement, he joined and oversaw the Air Traffic Controller Program at Middle Georgia State University.
Mr. Pace was a member of Northway Church, where he attended the Friday Men’s Group and served in many capacities, including being a greeter on Sunday mornings. He was very passionate in his faith and enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Jason Pace (Hayden) and Kristen Andrews (Daryl); grandchildren, Parker Pace, Chloe Pace, Carson Pace, Ansley Andrews, Ady Andrews, Abby Hearst (Matt), Siblings, Esca Pace (Denise)and Stewart Pace; niece and nephews, Trevor Pace, Tanner Pace and Courtney Pace.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Faith For Future Fund at Northway Church, 5915 Zebulon Road, Macon, Georgia 31210.
Snow's Memorial Chapel, Bass Road has charge of arrangements.
