Rev. Cary G. Stewart

MACON – Rev. Cary Guy Stewart, 71, passed away Friday, June 8, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue. Burial will be at 2:00 PM in Northview Cemetery in Dublin. Rev. Randall Mimbs will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6 until 8 PM Monday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue and may be contacted at the residence.

Rev. Stewart was born in Dublin and was the son of the late Eunice Vera Howell Stewart and Henry Vernon Stewart and the widower of Shirley Ann Hamburg Stewart. He was retired from insurance sales from Life of Georgia and was a minister of the Gospel. Rev. Stewart was a member of Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church.

Rev. Stewart is survived by his daughter, Karen Coffing (Dale) of Morristown, TN; son, Glenn Stewart (Debbie) of Macon; brothers, Jerrald Stewart (Marcia) of Macon, Dale Stewart (Jean) of Gray, Ricky Stewart of Jones County; sisters, Larue Albritton of Ideal, GA, Laverne Dooley (Joe) of Byron, Kathy Stapleton (Frank) of Macon; grandsons, Travis Douglas, Cliff Douglas, Rusty Stewart, Chris Herring, Sean Greer; granddaughters, Shannon Herring and Mandy Trevino; great-granddaughter, Anslee Douglas; a host of nieces & nephews.
