Richard "Ricky" Stevens

Richard “Ricky” Eugene Stevens, 55, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 in Macon. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, August 30 at 11 a.m. at the Salvation Army Chapel, 2312 Houston Avenue with Pastor Robin Tedder and Pastor Jerry Garner officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Children’s Research, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Richard was born in Macon to Jack Hart Stevens and the late Ethel Carol Carr Stevens. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Jessica Stevens; siblings, Donnie Stevens and Valerie Thomas. Richard graduated from Southwest High School and was self-employed as a farmer. He was a cabinet builder and a Boy Scout leader. Richard formerly worked at the Medical Center of Central Georgia and Peach County Hospital.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara Stevens of Warner Robins; daughters, Samantha Chastain, Katy Stevens, step-daughter, Lorayne Warren; son, Kyle Stevens and step-son, David Tyo; father, Jack Stevens and step-mother, Runette Stevens; siblings, Lora Ogden and Jonathan Stevens.
