Robert “Pete” W. Wallace, 83, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry St.
Pete was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Leslie and Levina Wallace. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra K. Wallace, son, Vince Wallace, a daughter, Melinda Robertson, and siblings, Delma Wallace, Juanita Townsend and Jeanne Cannon. He was retired from the Macon Water Authority as a meter reader with fifty-one years of service. Pete attended New Haven Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was a devoted and loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle.
He is survived by his son, William (Franka) Wallace, seven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, sister, Doris Winn and several nieces and nephews.
