Sandra Work Brown passed on April 5, 2026, at the age of 82. . Visitation will be held at Snow's Memorial Chapel, 1419 Bass Road, Macon, Georgia 31210, on April 16, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by A Celebration of Her Life at 11:00 am. Dr. Jimmy Asbell will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vineville United Methodist Church, 2045 Vineville Avenue, Macon, GA 31204.
Sandra was born in Macon the daughter of the late Edith Stone Work and Dr. Samuel Dewitt Work, Jr. and was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Dempsey S. Brown, Jr. She was a member of Vineville United Methodist Church .................
Sandra is survived by her sons, Brad Brown (Jan) and Kevin Brown (Angie); grandchildren, Amelia Brown Barth (Addison), Griffin Brown, and Hunter Brown.
