Shirley Pizzitola

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Margaret Hawken and William John Lutz. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ross Anthony Pizzitola and son, Stephen Ross Pizzitola.

Survivors include her son, Chris Pizzitola of Ft. Bragg, California; daughter, Susan White (Jeff) of Macon; daughter in law, Julie Pizzitola Till of Eureka, Missouri; sister, Ada Lee Coulon of Webster Groves, Missouri; six grandchildren, John, Adam and Jacob Pizzitola, Kristi Green (Nathan), Katie Slonaker (Patrick), Kellie White; and two great grandchildren, Hawken and Lynn Lee Green.

She was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church. Her passions were spending time with her family and doing genealogical research. Several of her ancestors were some of the founding fathers of St. Louis. She was a member of numerous genealogical and historical societies.
