Sue Jordan Carithers

A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with the Rev. Joe McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted, or donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, 31201.

A native of Camden, Arkansas, Mrs. Carithers was born to the late John and Annelle Jordan. She worked at Robins Air Force Base and was also a homemaker. Mrs. Carithers was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School Class. She enjoyed quilting and sewing.

Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, Leonard W. Carithers of Macon; sons, Stephen Leonard Carithers (Angie) of Macon and Kevin John Carithers (Ariane) of Reno, Nevada; grandchildren, Anna Carithers, Adam Carithers, Donovan Carr and Ethan Carithers; and several nieces and nephews.
