Thelma Inez Bryant

Inez Bryant, 89, passed away Monday, December 17, 2012 at Pine Pointe Hospice. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday at Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Joe McDaniel, the Rev. Sam Waldron and the Rev. Phil Bryant will officiate. The family will meet friends from 5 – 7 p.m., Tuesday at Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 1120 Morningside Drive, Perry 31069 or to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon 31210.

Mrs. Bryant was born and educated in Cochran and was the daughter of the late James T. and Veola Purser Holland. She was the sister of the late Mary Nell Mullis and James Henry Holland. Mrs. Bryant was a devoted homemaker, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and was a member of Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Phil (Kathy) Bryant, Tony (Debra) Bryant, Pat (Charlie) Simmons and Susan (Jimmy) Soles; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; sisters, Nettie Jo Oliver, Betty Anderson and Janice Dixon; brother, Leo Holland and a number of nieces and nephews.
