

Thomas Allen Dial, 90, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his family. The family will meet friends from 5 – 7 p.m., Saturday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday in Barrow Memorial Park, Winder, GA with the Rev. Rex Odom officiating. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers those who wish may make memorial donations to Heritage United Methodist Church Building Fund, 4062 Vineville Avenue, Macon 31210.
Mr. Dial, son of the late George Dewey and Claudie House Dial, was born in Statham, GA. Living in Macon a number of years, he was retired from Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. Mr. Dial was a member of Heritage United Methodist Church where he was a member of the Methodist Men’s Club and the Discipleship Sunday School Class. He also served on the Administrative Board. Mr. Dial was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra K. White and his grandson, Gregory White.
Survivors includes those he loved most, his wife of nearly 67 years, Nellie Jo Dial of Macon; his daughter, Deborah Jo (Fred) Cook, all of Macon; three grandchildren, Amy E. Cook, Fred L. Cook, III and Rhonda Mathews; five great grandchildren and his devoted caregiver and friend, Valerie White.
