

William “Bill” O. Cameron, 88, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his family. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Lane Collins officiating. The family will greet friends from 2 until 4 PM Sunday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue and may be contacted at the residence of Ken and Susan Cameron, 6708 Chriswood Drive, Macon 31216. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to PruittHealth Hospice, 6060 Lakeside Commons Drive, Macon 31210.
Mr. Cameron was born in Notasulga, AL the son of the late Mary Charles and William Elbert Cameron. He was a retired superintendent having worked for Blunt Brothers in Alabama and then Williams and Associates in Macon. Mr. Cameron was a United States Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Mae Peek Cameron; and siblings, Roy Cameron, Mary Clyde Morgan, and Floyd Dale Cameron.
Survivors include his son, Kenneth “K.C.” (Susan) Cameron of Macon; grandchildren, Ma-Shay (Corey Morrow) Cameron, Ma-Kenna Cameron and their mother, Nicki Cameron, Bradley Earls, and Garrett Earls; great-grandchild, Crew Morrow; siblings, Richard Elbert "Bill" Cameron, Wynona “Ruth” Ghent, Joyce Hethcox, Betty Jo Williams, and James “Jimmy” Cameron; many nieces and nephews.
