MACON- William (Bill) D. Burnley, 79, died in a local nursing home. Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 11:00 at Evergreen Cemetery with the Reverend Jeff Powell officiating. The Family will greet friends Wednesday Evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue.
Mr. Burnley was born in Macon and was the son of the late Eulie Howell Burnley and John L Burnley. He was retired from General Steel Inc., where he worked as a bookkeeper.
Mr. Burnley is survived by one brother: Leon H. Burnley of Macon; 2 Sisters: Jackie B. Polk and Mildred B. Bird both of Macon; Several nieces and nephews
