

BYRON – William B. “Billy” Causey, 73, died Monday, February 20, 2012 in an Atlanta hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Paul Dziadul will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home and may be contacted at the residence.
Mr. Causey was preceded in death by his wife Bernice Creech Causey, his parents, Joseph B. and Audrey Merritt Causey, his son, William R. Causey and two brothers, Harold E. Causey and Johnny Causey. He was a 1957 graduate of Lanier High School, a retired grocer and had served with the National Guard. Mr. Causey was of the Baptist Faith and was a member of Mabel Masonic Lodge No. 255 F&AM.
Survivors include his daughter, Donna Causey (Walt) Fisher of Marietta; two sons, Greg Causey of Atlanta and Joe Causey of Byron; four grandchildren, Courtney Fisher, Christina Moore, Will Causey and Michael Causey; three great grandchildren; his brother, Merritt (Mary) Causey of Norcross and a host of nieces and nephews.
