William R. Leatherwood

William R. Leatherwood, 69, passed away Monday, October 1, 2013. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 AM Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville. Father Dawid Kwiatkowski will officiate. A Rosary will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Mt. de Sales Academy, Capital Campaign, 851 Orange Street, Macon 31201.

Mr. Leatherwood was born in Atmore, Alabama and was the son of the late William Rue Leatherwood. He was retried as an inspector from Robins Air Force Base. Mr. Leatherwood was a United States Navy veteran.

Mr. Leatherwood is survived by his wife, Delores Jiminez Leatherwood of Gray; children, Alex (Charmion) Leatherwood of Macon, Michael (Katrina) Leatherwood of Warner Robins, Stephen (Jessica) Leatherwood of Perry, Christopher (Leigh) Leatherwood of Perry; 10 grandchildren; mother, Margaret McCloud of Gray.
