Wilma Tanner Fussell

She was preceded in death by her parents, David Henderson Tanner and Maggie M. Tanner. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend who always put other’s needs before her own. She will be greatly missed by all.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Ralph Fussell; one son, Jeff Fussell (Kim); two daughters, Alisa Popejoy (Waite) and Karen Franklin (Robbie); a sister, Betty Walton and a brother, David H. Tanner. Adored by their Grandmother were Sam Popejoy, Katherine Fussell, Tanner Fussell and Noah Fussell.

She worshiped her Lord at Mount Zion Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be held at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery on Friday, September 24, 2010 at 11 a.m. The Reverend Clay Bowden will officiate with the Reverend M. Kadar Jones serving as soloist. The family will greet friends immediately following graveside services at The Gables Clubhouse located at 5228 Forsyth Road, Macon.
