Wylie Kyle Mitchell

Wylie Kyle Mitchell, 77, passed away September 25th, 2023. A Celebration of Life will be held September 29th, 2023 at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Bass Road, at 11 A.M. with Rev. Richard Bobo officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. until service time. Burial will follow at 2 P.M. at Sardis Baptist Church, 2120 Keys Ferry Road, McDonough, Georgia 30252.

Wylie was born February 8th, 1946 in Jackson, Georgia to the late Douglas Mitchell and Mildred Mitchell (Faulkner). He was also proceeded in death by his son, Everett Mitchell. He served in the Navy from December 1967 to November 1969, and was retired from Louie Harron Toyota in September 2009 after 17 years. He was a former member of the Wolhin Masonic Lodge #390, and Al Sihah Shriners Fraternal Organization in Macon, Georgia. Wylie had a love for fishing, old cars, UGA football, Atlanta Braves baseball and spending time with his dear friends and family.

Mr. Mitchell is survived by four sons, Jonathan Mitchell (Leslie) of Macon, Georgia, Phillip Mitchell (Alison) of Macon, Georgia, Christopher Mitchell (Britney) of Rolla, Missouri, Wylie Mitchell, Jr. of Warwick, Rhode Island; sister, Rachel Cason (Cecil); and eight grandchildren, Chandler Mitchell, Lizzy Mitchell, Kyle Mitchell, Chazlyn Mitchell, Lillian Mitchell, Gerald Gordon, Grayson Gordon, and Gavin Gordon.
