

In addition to her husband, Robert, she is survived by her four children and their spouses; Louis Bootier of Plymouth, MA, Jacqueline Bootier and Thomas Kidd of Los Angeles, CA, Barbara and David DiNoia, of Guilford, CT and Joseph and June Bootier of Santa Rosa, CA; her grandchildren, Alan Bootier, Holly Bootier, Emily Olsson, Morgan DiNoia and Benjamin DiNoia; her great grandchildren, Cameron and Riley Olsson; her brother and his wife, Gilbert and Geraldine Richard. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Richard, and her first husband, Eugene Bootier.
Ann was born in Salem, MA to the late Joseph and Alma Richard. She attended Salem State University where she earned her teaching degree. She continued her education at University of Rhode Island where she earned her Masters in Education. She loved working with children and was employed for many years at Hope Valley Elementary School as a kindergarten teacher. She was very involved with her church, taught catechism and served as a Eucharistic Minister. In her spare time, Ann loved to garden and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Ann’s family will receive relatives and friends at Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Rd., Madison, CT, on Saturday, September, 29, from 8:30am to 10:30am. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11am at St. Margaret Church, 24 Academy St., Madison, CT. Interment will be at Centerbrook Cemetery, 37 Westbrook Rd., Centerbrook, CT following the funeral service.
