Carmelina R. Panico DeRosa, passed away surrounded by her family on Christmas Eve December 24, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Dominic DeRosa. She was born in New Haven CT on November 24, 1920, to the late Salvatore and Amelia (Deluca) Panico.
Carmelina is survived by her daughters Lorraine (Tony) Maru of Madison, Donna (James) Calabrese of Killingworth and her son Paul (Carol Ann) DeRosa of East Haven. Also survived by two grandchildren, Marc (Julie) Maru, Melisa Ann (Brian) Forman, two great grandaughters Seren and Gwyn Forman.. Carmelina was very charismatic, who had a million dollar smile. She was loved by all including the grand dogs Belle Rose and Dede Ann. She took great enjoyment in being with her family and she was the love of her husband Dominic life.
