Christopher M. Newcomb

Christopher M. Newcomb, age 39, of Madison, Connecticut unexpectedly passed away on January 20, 2012. He is survived by his beloved wife, Meig Walz Newcomb, and two children, Lucas Charles, 3, and Loretta Marie, 5 weeks. Chris was born on September 9, 1972 and is the son of Sherry (Tome) Newcomb and the late Peter Newcomb. He became a dedicated Madison resident at the age of 5. Chris worked for the Madison Country Club for over a decade as the Greens Keeper. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, orienteer and all around outdoorsman but his true love was his family. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his wife, children and mother, he is survived by his brother, Peter Newcomb of Atlanta, GA and his grandmother, Marion Tome of Madison. Family and friends are invited to the Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Road, Madison, on Tuesday, January 24th, from 5 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 25th at 11 am at the First Congregational Church on the Madison Green.
