Concetta Susan Tegano

Connie S. Tegano, 92, widow of Frank J. Tegano, since 2014, of Norwalk passed away on December 20, 2022 at the Madison House, in Madison, CT. Connie was born on October 26, 1930 in Norwalk, CT. Connie was a lifelong resident of Norwalk. She married Frank J. Tegano and they made their home in Norwalk for 59 years together. She was a devoted wife and mother who cherished time spent with her family. In addition to raising their children, she maintained her career working for J.M. Layton’s Company.

Connie is survived by her three daughters, Francine (Philip) Mendence, Terri (Frank) Cutrone, and Gina M. (James) Wygonik, her best friend Sharon Cerulli, her brother-in-Law, Philip Tegano, sister in-law, Debbie Tegano, nieces and nephews; Kathleen Patti, Deborah Scire, Jennifer "Ty" (Scire) Skruppa, Garrett, Brandon, Christopher, and Lacey Tegano, and Debbie Scire.

Connie also leaves behind her nine precious grandchildren, Danielle Mendence, Kasey (Bill) Mooza, Kristen (Sergio) Forlini, and Caitlin (Jeff) Tiani, Nicole, Tarra and Michael Foley, James (Jake) and Cassidy Wygonik. Connie also is survived by her great grandchildren: Sergio (SJ), Lena and Sebastian Forlini, Olivia Mooza, Calvin and Carson Tiani, and Kollyns Layne Bentley. Connie was predeceased by her brother Philip Scire, Anthony (Barbara) Scire and her sister Phyllis (Dominic) Quartuccio.
