Dorothy E Anger

Dorothy Anger, 94, of Madison, CT, passed away on October 1, 2015, in CT Hospice. She was the wife of the late George Anger for 61 years. Dot was born August 12, 1921, in Michigan, daughter of the late Harry and Marvel Whittakar. She graduated from Cooley High School in Michigan and attended Shimer College in Illinois. She moved to Madison in 1950. Dot was a member of the First Congregational Church of Madison and Order of the Eastern Star. She was predeceased by her loving son, Lawrence and her brother Jim. She was the beloved mother of Sharon DiVito (David) of East Haven and Pamela Lunn (Hank) of Madison. She has six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Dot enjoyed her vacations with her husband to Barbados, Portugal, and other places over the years. She was active in the Madison Senior Center. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, October 24 at 11:00 a.m., West Cemetery, Madison, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.
