Edward George Kronberg

Ed was born June 19, 1923 in New Haven to the late Edward & Marie Kronberg. Ed was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Navy as a Boatswain's Mate 1st Class aboard the USS Helena CA-75. After serving in the Navy, Ed went into business for himself. He began as a roofer and then extended his services into carpentry and contracting. Eventually, he joined his siblings at Kronberg Brothers in North Haven. Ed was an active member of The Lutheran Church of Madison for many years & served on the Killingworth Planning & Zoning Committee from 1970 - 1973. Besides his wife of 72 years, Ed is survived by his daughter Joanne (Donnell), his son Keith (Phyllis), grandchildren Jessica Silva & Edward, Ian, & Jillian Kronberg, great grandchildren Alexandria & Colin Tracy, Angelica & Julian Silva, Kaitlyn & Kaiden Kronberg, & Heather Evans. Ed is also survived by brothers David & John Kronberg. Ed was pre-deceased by a son, Edward G. Kronberg III. A mass will be held at The Lutheran Church of Madison on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 11 am.
