Mark Alan Harrison

Mark Harrison, 52, of Killingworth, passed away unexpectedly on June 27, 2014. Mark was born January 4, 1962, the son of Russell Harrison and Lorraine Linehan Harrison, who preceded him in death. Mark graduated from high school in 1980 from Regional District 17 Haddam-Killingworth (H-K). Mark went on to receive a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from University of CT and operated his own landscaping business.

Mark is survived by his brother Brian Harrison of New Hampshire and sister Norene Koester and husband Jeff of Florida and their children, (Mark’s nieces and nephews) Keith, Gracie, Lee and Amy.

Mark was accomplished in Martial Arts, achieving two black belts in Tang Soo Do and a black belt candidate in Combat Hapkido.

Mark’s gentle and generous heart will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 11:00am at Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Road, Madison, CT.

Guests who will access the funeral home via I-95 are encouraged to utilize Exit 62 to avoid the annual Madison Independence Day Parade route. Guests should take Exit 62 and travel south on the Hammonasset Connector toward Hammonasset Beach State Park. Turn Right onto Route 1 and travel west to Swan Funeral Home at 825 Boston Post Road.
