

Born in Akron, Ohio, Bob graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School. He excelled in school and standing at 6’11” in basketball as well. He attended Case Western Reserve University receiving a bachelor’s and master’s degree with honors in civil engineering and economics. Bob’s career focused on the development and implementation of robotic technologies in automotive manufacturing, working for over 30 years in the US and abroad.
Bob’s first love was for his family, and he took great pleasure and pride in each of them: his wife of 47 years Marie; his daughter Lindsey and husband Tedd Riffe who live in Sanford NC with his granddaughters, Bridget (age 7), Brynne (age 5) and Elizabeth (age 1 month) and his son Patrick and his wife Micah who live in Madison, CT with two more granddaughters Cameron (age 4) and Morgan (age 1).
During retirement, Bob enjoyed researching his family genealogy which led to the discovery of past relatives living in the early Connecticut settlement of Old Lyme (East Saybrook) in New London County.
