Doug was a truly kind and gentle man. We
have been blessed to be a part of his
family. He has now found eternal peace.

Doug was a very genuine and honorable man. I was lucky enough to meet Doug at SunnyBrook Lanes. He was an awesome bowler. We also golfed in a couple scrambles together. I feel very lucky to have known him. Thoughts and prayers to his family

My memory of Doug was when he helped move some heavy items into our home several years ago. What a guy! I tried to be a blessing to the family in my gratitude - but the Lord outdid me through His spirit at work in Doug, and the spirit of the entire family unit!

Doug was one of the most remarkable men I've ever known. Kind hearted,humble and never would you hear him speak ill of anyone. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

i know Doug from 15 mile road church ! i enjoy speaking to him , even i don't go to 15 reg. cause i have my own church , but when i do go Doug is always there with a smile and always saying to good to see you again ! Michael and i will miss him not only at church on Sunday's , but day's when thing's are going on ! he will be miss a lot ! He was taken from us too soon , But  he not hurting any more and home with his Lord and is happy ! but he still love his family plus his friends down  here , and we be with them in their heart's , will see him again where their time come's for them to come home ! will miss you Doug !

I love you so much uncle Doug. You will be greatly missed. I have so many wonderful memories of you. Us crusin' around in the corvette, you picking us up for church in the church van, always going to wendy's for a frosty, going to the palace after church every Sunday night for fries and ketchup. Our long talks in the living room,you and  aunt Debbie going to the alter with me when I accepted Jesus as my personal savior. You being there when Fred baptized me at out church. I could go on and on uncle Doug. I will see you in heaven someday soon. I will be FaceTiming aunt Deb every week. You were the best uncle a niece could ask ask for. Rest with God ❤

Although I didn't know Carl, I know Jami and she is such a remarkable person that I know this was in part to his influence.  My thoughts and prayers to the entire family at this difficult time.

So sorry for your loss. He was very kind hearted soul who will be missed by many. Thoughts and prayers, always!

Doug was one of the greatest guys I've ever met. He always was wondering how I was bowling everywhere other than our league. Always had a smile on his face and was always my favorite. This past season I was out most of the year with a broken leg and I came back for the last month and the last night I shot 300 and he told me he was so proud of me. This 300 now means so much more to me. I'mGonna miss him a whole lot rest easy Doug.
