Christine C. Dunaway Age 86 of Madison Heights, Michigan died April 28, 2010 at her home. Christine was born September 23, 1923 in Cullman, Alabama. Christine was predeceased by her husband the late Hargis (1964) whom she married December 24, 1943 in Toledo, Ohio. Christine is survived by her children Sharon (William) Sloan of Madison Heights, Michigan and Phyllis (Jeff) Bottles of Clinton Township, Michigan, her aunt, Mary Griggs of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, her nephews and nieces Harold (Dotti) Baker of Weatherford, Texas, Maxie (Sandra) Townsend of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee and Deanna Newby of McMinnville, Tennessee. Christine will also be missed by her granddogs. Visitation Friday April 30, 2010 from 2:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with funeral services Saturday May 1, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home 30351 Dequindre Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak, Michigan. Memorials to Michigan Humane Society. Christine retired from Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital in 1994.
