Clarice Norene Perisi passed away peacefully at her home in Rochester Hills on Wednesday May 18, 2022. Norene was born August 12, 1933 in Huntington, West Virginia. She attended Wayne State University, where she met and then married Anthony John Perisi. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Education. She went on to earn her Master's in Education at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. She enjoyed 25+ years as a Kindergarten teacher at Schroeder Elementary School in Troy, Michigan. Norene enjoyed golf, cruising the Caribbean, theatre, painting, cooking, entertaining, and being an active volunteer in the community and her children's school. She was a wonderful daughter, loving wife for 64 years before the passing of her husband, amazing mother, beloved grandmother, and loyal friend to all.
Norene is survived by daughters Cheryl (Gregory) Geralds, Evelyn Allan, Monica (Harold-James) Hosking, and Maria; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; Sister Gwendolyn Geralds; Brothers Glenn, Gary, and Graham; Sister-in-law Barbara Geralds; Sister-in-law Eleanor (Steve) Nishanian; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her Husband Anthony, Sons Anthony and Vincent; Mother Kathleen Geralds, and Father Jerry Geralds.
Visitation will be held from 3 - 8 PM on Monday May 23, 2022 at Edward Swanson and Son Funeral Home at 30351 Dequindre Road, Madison Heights, Michigan. In-state will follow on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 9:30 AM until time of funeral mass at 10 AM at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church at 28353 Herbert Street, Madison Heights, Michigan. Graveside burial will follow at White Chapel cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice Foundation of America.
