Debbie had an insatiable curiosity for her family history, spending countless hours researching genealogy and uncovering rich tapestry of her ancestry. Above all she treasured her role as a grandmother. She found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love. Debbie's heart belonged to Northern Michigan, particularly Burt Lake, where she revealed in the tranquility of nature and the beauty of the surroundings. A simple pleasure brought Debbie delight- A McDonalds sausage McMuffin and a Diet Coke No ice. Her preference was well-known and served as a reminder of her unique and endearing personality.
Debbie was a beloved wife for 45 years to Charles Ullman; Cherished mother to Kelly Ullman, Kristopher (Katie) Ullman, & Daniel Ullman; loving Grandmother to CJ, Layla, Henry & Reece; Adored daughter to Joann and the late Clint Bowden; and sister to Gary and the late Cindy.
A visitation for Deborah will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre Road, Madison Heights, MI 48071.
An in state will occur Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at 10:30 AM, up until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 581 E. 14 Mile Road, Clawson, MI 48017.
She will be laid to rest at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery, 621 W Long Lake Rd, Troy, MI 48098.
