Homer Jones age 92 died September 12, 2010 at Heartland Health Care Center-Georgian Bloomfield. Homer was born April 7, 1918 in Goldbug, Kentucky, he was predeceased by his wife the late Jeanette (March 3, 2000), and his son the late Mr. Ronnie Jones. Homer is survived by his children, Mrs. Lowell (Donald) Train of Madison Heights, Michigan, Mr. Gary (Sharon) Jones of Troy, Michigan, Mr. Les Jones of Madison Heights, Michigan and Joyce (James) Jacobs of Sterling Heights, Michigan. Homer is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and his sister Mrs. Lillie Long of Corbin, Kentucky, he was predeceased by his brothers the late Howard, the late Bryant, the late Alonzo, the late Raymond and the late Robert Jones and his sister the late Alice Sharp. Visitation Tuesday September 14, 2010 from 2:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 15, 2010 11:00 a.m. at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home 30351 Dequindre Madison Heights, Michigan. Additional visitation will be held on Saturday September 18, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral 1:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home 103 S. 2nd St. Williamsburg, Kentucky.
