Jesse Lee Peyton, age 88 of Warren, passed away October 5, 2016. He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret. Loving father Sharon (Rick) Chontos, JoAnne Bryant, Teresa (Jim) Turner, the late Gary (Carol) Leming and the late Dennis Peyton. Step-father of James (Jean) Crafton, Nedra (Russ) Toten, Clay (Linda) Crafton, Bev (Gary) Hundlo and Donna (Mike) Landauer. Dear grandfather of 23. Also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and extended family members. Predeceased by his parents, Odie and Elvie Peyton; brother, Robert Peyton and sister, Goldie Moore. Jesse was a long time usher at Great Lakes Christian Church. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre Rd., Madison Heights. Jesse will lie In State on Monday at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Great Lakes Christian Church, 3421 Chicago Rd., Warren.
