John L. Marzilli

John L Marzilli was born September 23, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois. He passed away at home on September 5, 2019, of a heart attack while with his girlfriend Pamela Poma. He was the son of the late John Marzilli and Delores Hespen-Marzilli. Survived by his step-mother Darleen Marzilli. Brother of Judy L. Marzilli (Kathy) and Brad Smith (Kim). Loving Father of Lisa Marzilli-Tippit (Robert) Autumn Mitchell, Tracy Marzilli-Yurkunas (Joe) and And Anthony Marzilli (Lindsey). Much loved grandfather (Nonno) of Cole, Carley, Carter, Parker, Deshea, Avery, Noah, and Lucy. Formerly married to Kathy Kelly and Dorrie Roeder-Marzilli for 25 years. Uncle of many dear nieces and nephews.

John was a hard worker. A member of the roofers union, local 149, where he learned the trade and later owned his own roofing company. He was an amazing self-taught guitarist, and composer. Music was his passion. He was a die-hard Detroit Lions and Three Stooges fan. He loved the people in his life dearly and brought a smile to everyone's face who had the opportunity to know and meet him.
