Jonathan "Jay" Drew age 77, resident of Troy, Michigan died on Wednesday October 27, 2010 at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan. Jay was born January 19, 1933 in Earle, Arkansas. Jay is survived by his wife Scharlyne, his children Connie Ray of Madison Heights, Michigan, and Craig (Donna) Drew of Farmington Hills, Michigan, Jay is also survived by 5 grandchildren Brandon Ray, Kristin Ray, Danielle, Nicole and Samantha Drew, and one great grandson, Jason Dempsey, and his brother Jacob (Rachel) Drew of Washington, Michigan. Jay was predeceased by 2 sisters and 5 brothers. Visitation Friday October 29, 2010 from 2:30 - 8:00 p.m. and funeral services on Saturday October 30, 2010 11:30 a.m. at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home 30351 Dequindre Madison Heights, Michigan 48071. Graveside services Saturday 1:30 p.m. at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens, Novi, Michigan. Jay is a veteran of the Marines.
