He is survived by his loving wife Betty Z. Tanner, children Cindi (David) Brunell and James Tanner, and grandson Zac Brunell. Luther was proud to have served in the United State Navy.
He was a Shriner and was also very active in Boy Scout Troup 1930. He loved his family and spending time with them, he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his favorite pastime doing projects around the house. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the Dequindre Rd. Baptist Church.
