Marilyn R. Russell age 75 a long time resident of Madison Heights, Michigan, and a former council member of Madison Heights for over 23 years, died on Monday September 19, 2011 at Martha T. Berry Nursing Home, Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Marilyn was born December 7, 1935 in Williamsburg, Kentucky. Marilyn is survived by her children, Laura (Jon) Joyce of Madison Heights, Michigan, Royal (Cyndy) Russell III of Clinton Township, Michigan, Rachel (Patrick) Young of Chesterfield Township, Michigan. Marilyn is also survived by 9 grandchildren, sister of Roger (Nancy) Brinkley of Clinton Township, Michigan and Fred Brinkley of Fredericksburg, Virginia. Marilyn was predeceased by her daughter the late Deborah Russell (2011) and her former husband the late Royal Russell Jr. (2008).
